We have three multi-age classrooms where children learn at their own pace in a safe and nurturing educational environment. Our rich curriculum helps prepare children for a strong educational future. Our program begins at 7:15 a.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

We respect and value diversity

Our mission is to encourage the development of the whole child in a caring community for children from diverse religious, ethnic, and economic backgrounds.

We provide opportunities for the community to interact with us and share time, talent, and resources with our children and their families. Please join us as we further Christ's mission by celebrating and serving children.

We welcome parent involvement

Our Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a way for parents, faculty, and staff to come together to support our school's mission. The PAC strives to enhance the academic, emotional, social, and physical well-being of the children attending St. James' Episcopal School. We encourage all parents and guardians to participate actively in the PAC. The children are the beneficiaries of the partnership between the parents and the staff through PAC. The chair of the PAC is an ex-officio member of the board of trustees.

Licensing

We are licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

Accreditation

We had our on-site visit from January 27 - January 30 by team members from the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools, and we have received our report with commendations, suggestions, and recommendations. The Standards Committee of SAES meets in June 2008 and will decide on the length of our accreditation.
